Modern Landscape Garden

No cookie cutter design for this modern garden style front yard. By using smooth-finished, stucco planters and chocolate-colored, triangular-shaped terraced planters we've increased the visual wow factor of the landscape.

The home sits several feet above street level, so we've integrated a sloped front yard to complement the lifestyle of the homeowner, as well as the exterior of the house. Personal expression is made-to-order in this urban garden with clean lines and the dynamic presence of variegated agave and exotic succulent plants. The planter beds are filled with drought-resistant plants simply by utilizing the water-wise concepts of Xeriscape landscaping.

The steps lead to an upper level deck where the owners have a hot tub, lounge chairs, and tempered glass fence to maximize the view. The previously dark and unusable space under the staircase was transformed into an unexpected rock garden makes unexpected for the space with outdoor landscape lighting for safety.

The plants used in this modern landscape garden are existing palm trees, Grevillea, Kangaroo Paw, Mexican Bird of Paradise, Aloe, Sticks on Fire, Agave and Yucca.
