Why I became a landscape designer?
Few years ago, I wanted to improve the backyard of our home. Although I was very interested in doing it on my own, I wanted it done professionally. I had no idea of how to search for someone or where to look for help. I decided to hire a local neighborhood landscape contractor who informed me that he was also a landscape designer. Like many people, I hired him simply because his quote for his services was so reasonable. I could not believe my luck. I thought that I had hit a jackpot. And, in my mind I was counting ways to use the money saved from this landscape project on other things.
Little did I know that he was neither a licensed contractor nor a good landscape designer. Within weeks, I realized I had made a big landscape mistake. The backyard design plan and the contractor's work were not in sync. When I approached him with questions he kept assuring me that everything would work out fine and not to worry. After weeks of stress, many discussions and sleepless nights we cut our losses and set about fixing the landscaping problems ourselves.Even to this day, my husband tells our guests stories about that horrible experience and as a friendly reminder to me so I never forget my silent mission - to provide the best landscape design services to my clients.

The experience of redoing our own family landscape encouraged me to enroll in the Cuyamaca College Ornamental Horticulture Program. There, I found my true passion. I studied to be a professional landscape artist to serve San Diego home owners. After graduating, I started providing my landscaping design services and sharing my gardening and backyard design ideas and tips with homeowners like you.I try to go beyond the conventional methods and give each client a fresh and unique plan reflecting their personality, with entertaining spaces for their home and garden. I practice and implement multi-functional spaces for families and challenge myself to make the most of the given space in my designs. With two children of my own, I know first-hand how difficult it is to create functional outdoor spaces to meet all of our family needs. As a professional home landscape designer, I concentrate on reducing waste and conserving natural resources without compromising quality design. I bring unique and fresh landscaping design elements with emphasis on peace and tranquility in the landscape. I accomplish this with minimal waste, sustainable landscape materials. I create space in your home environment where you can escape from the daily stresses to find happiness and create fond memories with your friends and families. My goal is to offer sustainable landscaping and garden design to bring art and nature to each and every client, at the same time reducing the impact on the environment. By limiting services to San Diego and surrounding 50 mile radius, we concentrate on being the best landscape design company rather than trying to “do it all”!
