As a professional landscape designer we do our best to cater to every family's budget with more style, more selections and quality design services. We specialize in Zen landscaping and Xeriscape landscape designs but we also offer the following diverse landscape design styles: Asian Garden/Japanese Garden/Zen Garden – Smaller scale of nature in your garden with symbolic, simplicity, serene, usually have more green than flowers. This design is great for meditation and helps you with peace and life balance.
California Landscape Design – Casual, eclectic garden style. Design around what you like and surround yourself with what you need. Anything goes with this style with tastefully arranged California-friendly plants.
Contemporary Garden – This garden style is popular for modern young homeowners. Clean lines, bold pattern and use of metal, stainless steel and mass planting of same plants and foliages.
Container Gardening – Perfect for limited spaces. It’s versatile, mobile, softens hard edges and gives visual impact. Great way to add splash of seasonal color to your garden.
Edible Landscape Design – Mixed with vegetables, herbs and edible flowers. Raised bed recommended in this garden for easy watering and harvesting.
English/Cottage/Country Garden – Informal and formal blend with colorful mixed flowers, roses, brick, curbed path, hedges, mass layering using plants, use low hedge borders. This style requires average watering.
Estate Garden
Formal Garden – Classical architecture, straight lines and geometrical shapes, topiary, clean appearance, monochromatic color, clipped hedges to maintain formal effect. Reflect the nature of the client, and style of the home. (High maintenance garden style)
Informal Garden – Care-free, laid back, curbed lines, irregular shapes, relaxed and natural style. California lifestyle and ranch style homes generally work best in informal plantings. Planting are informal with a naturalistic appearance.
Mediterranean Landscaping – Also called Tuscan Style Garden. Use of stone, wrought iron, wooden beams and drought tolerant plants with a reminiscence of Tuscany. Low water use and great for Southern California climates.
Modern/Urban Garden – With this garden, less is more. Geometric lines, symmetry, simplicity, airy-looking garden furniture with color contrasts, and foliages. Usually designed around the architecture of the home.
Rock Garden – Simple, serene, planting with cactus, mulching with rocks. More rocks than plants lots of space between the plants. (Low-water, low maintenance garden)
Seascape Urban Garden - More suitable for coastal homes perfect for Southern California residence near a beach.
Southwest Garden - Desert looking mostly cacti and succulents mixed with dry streambed, and stones. Drought tolerant and native plants are recommended. Requires sunny location and well drained low organic soil. (Low-water, low maintenance garden)
Succulent Garden – Mixed with succulents, drought tolerant plants, native plants and stones. This garden style is an excellent example of a fire-wise and water-wise landscape for Southern California climate. Succulent gardens maintenance-free, needs minimal water, green year-round, and has great texture. (Low-water, low maintenance garden)
Tropical Garden – Lush, exotic, rain forest look with large leaves plants, palms, ferns, colorful plants. The plants require above average watering for this garden.
Vegetable Garden – Mixed with vegetables, herbs and edible flowers. Raised bed recommended in the garden for easy watering and harvesting. (Requires average watering and maintenance)
Xeriscape Landscape – Good match to our Southern California climate, use of water-wise plants, native plants and stones. Xeriscape landscapes can be both environmentally and financially rewarding with much less maintenance. Xeriscape does not mean ZERO scape. Xeric [zir-ik] – is characterized by or relating to requiring only a small amount of moisture.
