Estate Garden Style

The spacious estate garden home has plenty of space for different styles of garden including Rose Garden, Native Plant Landscaping, Southwest Garden, Court Yard Garden, Zen Garden and Vegetable Garden, all in one. This meadow garden instead of traditional turf lawn, we used low growing, drought tolerant festucuas and easy to grow sedges for lawn substitutes. These grasses need little irrigation or feeding and no weekly mowing. No mow garden. The assortment of native plants, fruit trees in the front yard, entrance there are two Southwest gardens for perfect balance. Nestled among boulders and for a woodland look in the middle of the wide driveway is a large circular planting bed with water feature as a focal point. Garden art can be nestled in planting beds as focal points. The Rose garden on the south facing is to maximize the full sun exposure and monitoring watering needs. The north facing side Zen garden placed for meditation and quite reading space with a hammock. On the backyard raised beds for vegetables and herbs for homegrown produces. The spa and flagstone patio with build-in bench and spiral arbor is for nature viewing. The courtyard theme was inspired by the homeowner’s love of music. Old upright piano was used as a container gardening. Movable with casters for sunlight and plant stand can be used as seating as needed. Wall mounted water feature, topiary with musical theme makes perfect place to sit around the indoor/outdoor fireplace. The plants used in this garden are Citrus trees, fruit trees, roses, succulents, cacti, lavender, and native flowers with drought tolerant plants of homeowner’s choices.
