Edible Landscaping

Kitchen Garden - Home Grown Grocery Store

edible and vegetable landscaping design

A large outdoor patio with an edible landscaping is perfect for entertaining. A circular raised deck is comfortable and welcoming with tile accents, and a fire place with a pizza oven makes a perfect outdoor kitchen. A multi-functional built-in BBQ grill with a bar and built-in bench for lounging also works for storage.

A limited lawn area for the kids and dog, winding flagstone paths leading to a pergola for sheltered retreat.

The garden is separated into four different types of vegetables to the homeowner’s liking- salad garden, stir-fry garden, salsa garden, and herb garden. The circular organic vegetable garden gets plenty of sun during the day and is placed close to the kitchen for convenience.

Plants used in edible gardens are different types of citrus trees, fruit trees, blue berry, produce, herbs, vegetables, edible flowers, native plants, and drought tolerant plants.
